Divisions
The Missouri Association for Career and Technical Education is an active group of vocational educators whose strength is derived from their diversity and organizational structure. Missouri ACTE has approximately 2000 members. Members join one of nine divisions listed below. Each division is designed to cater to a specific professional field.
Missouri Association for Career Services (MACS)
The purpose of MACS is to promote the development of career services to students enrolled in Missouri’s high schools, area technical schools, and colleges. To maintain and improve professional standards in the field of career services. To unite professionals engaged in career services activities.

Business Education (MBEA)
The primary purpose of the MBEA is to promote the professional growth and development of members in the field of business education. Membership is open to all business educators, business education students, retired business educators and those individuals who cooperate in the development of business education in the State of Missouri.

Administration/MCCTA
As a Career Technical Administrator at a Comprehensive High School, a Career Technical Center, a Community College or any related state agency such as DESE, the MCCTA is your professional association. For 25+ years, we continue to advocate and support all our CTE administrators through a variety of state and regional professional development and leadership opportunities. We lead the efforts to build partnerships that support our schools, instructors and staff. In addition, we are the advocates to continue to build support to expand the needed funds to to offer our students the best facilities, programs and instructional equipment and supplies. We always are working to assist you and building CTE in Missouri!

Marketing (MEMO)
This division caters to individuals involved and interested in marketing and cooperative education at the secondary, post-secondary, and adult levels. Teachers, administrators and students preparing for the teaching profession will benefit from publications, professional development activities and opportunities for recognition and leadership.

Health Sciences (MHSE)
Membership in MHSE provides a communication network with colleagues across the state; keeps members informed of policies, plans and issues of the ACTE (Association for Career and Technical Education) and legislation impacting Career and Technical Education; provides opportunities for updating professional skills through workshops, conferences and receiving CEUs; and encourages and supports youth activities. Membership is comprised of secondary and post-secondary Health Care Educators.

Agriculture (MVATA)

Technology Education Association of Missouri (TEAM)
TEAM is a professional organization of junior high and high school Industrial Technology teachers that promotes professionalism through spring, fall and summer meetings, a nationally recognized newsletter and a state contest every year. TEAM also encourages professionalism through active teachers sharing ideas and resources.
